I'm a cat person.

And a dog person. And an elephant, lion, tiger, quick brown fox jumped over the lazy moose person. Basically, I love animals which is why you'll never see an animal harmed in any of my books. People, sure. But animals? Nothing but hugs, love, and the occasional shape shifting bird or three headed dog. Jack, Lily, & Mojo are my brood, plus a few other neighborhood and bookstore cats I've been lucky enough to encounter.                                 ~HJ
